Hi, I’m Alysha – the friendly voice behind the desk at Alford Plumbing & Heating and the green thumb behind the Instagram page ‘Tiny Garden in the South’.

If you’ve ever called Alford Plumbing & Heating and been greeted by someone warm, welcoming, and ready to help, chances are that was me!

I’m the first point of contact for our customers whether you’re making an enquiry, booking a job or just need someone to talk you through a heating issue, I’m here to help. I genuinely enjoy supporting people and making sure they feel heard and looked after from the very first call.

No two days are ever the same in our busy office, and that’s one of the things I love most. It can be fast-paced and unpredictable, but there’s a real sense of satisfaction in helping someone get their heating sorted just in time for a cold snap! I’ve always had a natural love for customer service and take pride in being a calm, helpful presence when people need it most.

💬 Need to get in touch? Whether you’re booking a job, have a quick question, or just want a friendly voice to talk things through, you can reach me through our contact page https://book.servicem8.com/request_booking?uuid=4d184981-7c8f-40f2-8d4a-1e076feb21ab I’m always happy to help!

When the workday ends, I swap my headset for a trowel and head outside. I’m a proud mum of two and find real joy in life’s simple pleasures, sunny holidays, live music, and most of all, gardening. My little green space has become my peaceful retreat and a source of constant inspiration.

I share my growing journey on Instagram at @tinygardeninthesouth, where I post about the ups and downs of gardening in a small space. It’s turned into a lovely, supportive community where I connect with fellow garden enthusiasts, swap stories, and learn as I grow literally!

Whether I’m booking jobs or planting seeds, I try to bring the same kind, cheerful energy to everything I do. I truly believe that small things like a kind word, a blooming flower, or a ripe tomato can make a big difference. Life doesn’t always have to be loud to be meaningful. Often, it’s the quiet, steady moments that matter most.
