What is a Magnetic Filter?

A Magnetic Filter is fitted to your central heating to collect any iron oxide that has developed within the system. By collecting this residue, the filter prevents the buildup of sludge. What is the best boiler?

There is no such thing as a universally perfect boiler for homes. Each home will have its own unique requirements, and your boiler must be able to meet these. One of our heating experts will be able to provide guidance on what exactly this means for your home, helping you find the best solution for your home.

If your boiler is over ten years old it is unlikely to be equipped with condensing technology, resulting in a poorer efficiency and more expensive heating bills.

What is the most economical way to heat a house?

There are a range of ways for homeowners to heat their home. Generally speaking, an extremely economical way of achieving a high-efficiency rating is by combining a newer boiler (with condensing technology) with solar water heating, as this will provide a significant saving both in terms of carbon emissions and heating bills.

How can I maintain the quality of my heating system?

In order to ensure your heating system is achieving optimal efficiency, it’s important that it receives annual servicing.

In addition to annual servicing, powerflushing is also an effective method. Powerflushing provides an extensive clean of the system, extracting any residue that could prevent the system from reaching its optimal efficiency.
